Formed in 2010, Gareeda have chewed up and spat out two vocalists before settling on their current form. All three members contribute vocals adding dynamics and harmonies often missed in the stoner scene. Guitarist Stu Gordon (ex Tyrant Lizard Kings) throws out infectious riffs at rate to rival Karma to Burn while bassist Toni Martone (ex Dick Dangerous, Eagletomb) holds down the low end with a snarling, gritty aggression. Degrassi drummer Michael Branagh brings a grungier style with his vocals which are used to great effect on the more introspective tracks of the album. Gareeda play to their strengths and explore every dimension of the classic power trio with an arrogant confidence they effortlessly back up across the 11 tracks of Leatherhead.
